I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Chicago, IL)
Interview
All situation based questions. Explain what happened, what did you do to fix it? and what was the outcome? It's all about customer service! If you don't like people interaction, this is not a job for you.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target (Ellicott City, MD) in Aug 2015
Interview
Conducted 2 phone interviews, and 2 face to face interviews. Each interview used the exact same questions, there was really no creativity in the interview process. After the second phone interview, I knew that I only needed to memorize the questions for the rest of the process.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Costa Mesa, CA) in Aug 2011
Interview
I filled out the application in the store at one of their computers by guest service. A week later I got called by HR to set up a phone interview. The following week I had a phone interview with a recruiter that lasted about 20 mins. Most of the questions were based of my resume. I then got asked to come in a week later and interview with a district manager of Asset protection. I was then asked to come back later in the week to interview with the Group market manager of Asset protection, Group HR, and A Market Manager of Stores. This interview was panel style where each of them asked me a set of questions. The majority of the questions were situational. The following week I was offered the position.
