I applied online. I interviewed at Target in May 2020
Interview
The store wasn't actually looking for the position I had applied for anymore and they offered other alternatives that I was also interested in. The interviewer started by going over my resume and availability, then there were 4 questions asking about situations from my previous work experience. They said that if I was selected I would go on to another interview. There was no drug test or background check at this stage of the interview process.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2019
Interview
The overall interview was pretty much smooth, comfortable, and quick. It did not feel like an interview. I've heard this is not always the case for other locations, so I suppose it depends on the staff. Luckily, my location has made me feel heard and welcomed.
