I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Target
Interview
Was contacted through Linkedin a few days ago. Set up a time to have an interview via email. Conducted the initial interview over the phone and lasted roughly half an hour. Basic introduction then an in depth description of the job. Following that, questions that were asked included situational and behavioral questions that lasted about 10 minutes. Overall, if prepared, the initial interview shouldn't be too stressful.

Question 1
Describe a situation where you had to give negative feedback to a coworker or a classmate and how did you handle it?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Portland, OR) in Feb 2016
Interview
The interview process is the most difficult I have ever gone through. The questions are all situation and behavioral based. There are four rounds of interviews and it was challenging to even get a phone interview with them to begin. The good thing is all rounds of the interview process are very similar. The interview begins with them asking you to tell you about yourself and what you are involved in and things of that nature. Then for the first three rounds of interviews they will ask you four behavioral type questions. The last round interview I was only asked three questions. Each interview lasts about 20-30 minutes and all four of mine were conducted via phone.

Question 1
Tell me about a time that you used effective communication to understand what someone else was saying?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in May 2016
Interview
The first question is going to be either, "Why Target?" or why this internship?" They will then tell you a little more about the position (if it's the first interview) and then jump into the situational interview questions, or just immediately jump right into the situational interview questions (all interviews after the first). They keep it between 4 - 5 situational questions (tell me about a time you____) and when they ask you to clarify something in your story, they've either found something they like or a discrepancy, so be sure to clarify any talking points with confidence and attempt to make the details clarified a positive reflection of your character.
*STAR answers are the format all your responses should be given in:
-Situation
-Task
-Action (you took)
-Result (always make yourself look good)
