Interview
After submitting online application:
- Phone screening, takes around 30 minutes
- Interview with a Store Team Leader (STL) in a nearby store
-Interview with District Team Leader (DTL) in company office
Interviews use STAR method. Good to know your strengths AND weaknesses. Target loves to ask about areas of weakness, or in Target terms, "areas of opportunity"

They requested to interview me after meeting them at my university's career fair, they followed up with an email confirming the phone interview details and attached some pointers to be mindful of which consisted of preparing stories relating to leadership experiences.

I did three different interviews. One with a recruiter, one with a store manager, and one with a district manager. Practice a lot of STAR method questions! They really want to hear about a situation, how you handled it, and what they outcome was. So plan out situations and how you handled them and what the outcome was.
