I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Aug 2010
Interview
Was contacted via email about my resume from my school's jobsite and was asked if I would like to set up a phone interview. Not a job that I really wanted, but it was decent money and something to do. The phone interview lasted about 35 minutes and consisted of behavioral questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1

The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target (Tucson, AZ) in Sep 2010
Interview
Still in the process of interviewing. Have an interview with Store Team Leader today. I h ave been on the phone with HR about scheduling this interview for over a month now. Very pleasant experience, able to work to my schedule. The interview I have today is for a position 1,000 miles away. I am not sure if they fly people out for the next process if you are wishing to relocate. I will post more after today
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Lexington, SC) in Jul 2010
Interview
Initially you fill out your resume stuff online and they will contact you if you are eligible for the job. You show up to the interview and the person doing the interview takes you back to their office so you can be alone.
The interview will consist of some of the usual interview questions like "what is your greatest weakness, strength etc" but they will also ask you when you have mentored a person in work or life. Another question consists of "What was your worst day of work." They will ask you if you have last worked on a team on a school or work project etc. The interview isn't difficult, although be prepared to study their website under interview tips.
