The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2011
Interview
It started off with a phone interview with the regional HR. Then, an interview was scheduled in a store with a district leader and a store manager. I wound up talking with four different people on four different occasions and was finally offered a job as a senior team leader.

Interview
I had several interviews over the course of 3 weeks. A recruiter from HQ set them all up. Round 1: phone interview with corporate recruiter in Minneapolis, Round 2: one-on-one interview with a local store manager in her store, Round 3: one-on-one interview with a local HR rep in a regional office. The next step would have been one more final interview with the district manager, but I didn't make it that far. I also took an online test that included IQ questions, skill questions, and personality based questions. The test was taken between rounds 1 and 2, and it took about an hour and a half.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you disagreed with your boss. What was the situation and how did you handle it.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2011
Interview
The interview consisted of all behavioral questions. Target has a list of generic questions that they ask all of their applicants, so questions do not vary between recruiters. Some examples include:
- Tell me a time where you made a mistake.
- Tell me about a time where you had to work in a group
- Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years
