I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2011
Interview
I haven't completed the process yet, just step 2 of many I'm sure. I underestimated the online test completely! Don't do that! Although they tell you have as much time as needed to complete the test, it does say it takes about 1 hour to complete and the test is being timed, you just don't see the timer. This made me really nervous and I think I bombed. The phone interview was scheduled prior to my online test so I don't think that's any indication as to the weight of the online test in the overall process.
I just processed through the phone interview and I just wanted to help some other people out and post some of the questions I was asked. First of all, I read over the questions posted on this site extensively and had my answers prepared. Although the questions I chose to prepare off this site weren't asked.
Here's what I was asked:
Explain a time when I made a mistake and how I handled it.
Explain a time when, as a supervisor or leader, I was able to motivate someone to do better. ** after my answer he feed off this question pulling out the part of my answer that described having to give negative feedback to someone **
Describe a project I completed in school and explain the steps that I had taken to accomplish the project.
Describe a time that I had to make a difficult decision (didn't specify with or without too much info)
Overall I think my phone interview went well, he said I would be hearing back in the next couple of days with information about how to go further in the process. My interview was really nice and I was a lot more comfortable over the phone which is wierd because usually I prefer face-to-face.

Question 1
Describe the most difficult process I had to complete in school and describe the steps I took to complete it.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Oct 2011
Interview
I heard about the position through a presentation at the Career Center & later saw them at the job fair. Handed my resume to the recruiter and later got an email from them (despite not having applied online yet) inviting me to an on-campus interview. It was one-on-one, and my interviewer was really nice. Essentially 5 major behavioral questions, later required to do a skills test online (logic, quantitative, situational analysis). However, when I emailed a thank you with further question to my interviewer, I never got a reply. About a week later, I received my rejection email.
