The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target (Richmond, VA) in Nov 2011
Interview
I met them at a job fair, where I did an on the spot 10 minutes interview, and afterward I did an on campus interview. That one lasted about 30 minutes, and consisted of introductory questions and 5 behavioral questions. That led to an interview at a nearby store. I had a tour and then another 30 minute interview, with the same 5 behavioral questions. After that, I drove to the city where I wanted to work and did another interview. Same story - 5 behavioral questions. I heard back 7 days later by email.

Describe a time you had a conflict with a coworker and how you dealt with it.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Washington, DC) in Oct 2011
Interview
I got the interview offer at the job fair at my school. Passed the first round interview and was offered to come in the Target in Springfield for the second one which included one interview with a lady from HR and another one with the district manager. Both of them asked a lot of situational and behavioral questions. Some was overlapped. I thought I did fine but didn't get the offer though. I think they looked for a very specific profile. All in all, very positive experience.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you motivated an associate who didn't perform.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2011
Interview
I first talked to this company at a career fair and they set up my first interview date that day. The first interview was about 3 weeks later with a Store Manager who had come to my campus for the day to do many interviews. I had received a reminder email and a generic email about what to research for them. From there I received an email from our campus representative that I was passed on to the 2nd round of interviews and received an email from a different lady who worked in the district office about interviewing with them. I traveled to interview at the district office and also interviewed with the store manager where the office was located. Finally, I received a call from the HR department to set up a final phone interview with the HR Manager. A few days later I called her and only talked for about 30 minutes. That same day I received a call from the campus rep that I was being offered the job!
Interviewers were really open about the process and let you know what they were looking for. They even asked more questions if they needed more information.
Questions were written down as Situation, Action and Results. You could clearly see them writing in each column as you began each question. They also rank your behavior as low medium high.
