I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied online, took the assessment and got a call a week later. I interviewed in-person with the manager and also the District Manager. I was given the background check two days after that, passed and currently awaiting my offer letter. This company is amazing in turn-around time for interview to offer letter. I am excited and felt very comfortable with the manager/DM. The interview went quite smoothly and we had a few laughs. It's definitely a plus to do your research and follow T-Mobile to see if it's something you REALLY want. This company has been making strides to do so much in the last few years and the CEO is amazing. If you're looking for a company that you can grow with then this is it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2012
Interview
Group interviews first, then individual call backs. They ask you general questions on your selling abilities, problem solving skills, focus skills, communication and teamwork. They ask about your knowledge and comfort levels with technology and any experience yoh may have from either owning tablets, laptops, smart phones, fixing a phone, setting up devices, owning accessories. They ask about your levels of independence. Presentation is key! Be confident and listen well. Do not show up in jeans and looking a mess. Look well put together, bring resumes and be sharp.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at T-Mobile (San Diego, CA) in Jul 2016
Interview
Three guys. Very polite. You present each other. Immediately, they go straight to the questions. They ask you to share a little bit of your history, what distinguishes you from other applicants, they do a "sell me a phone" exercise. They really seemed to be qualifying the personality, rather than experience.
