applied online and took the pre employment test. next day received a call from the hiring manager and he did a quick phone interview. He offered me an in-store interview for the fallowing week. The interview was in a room with 2 hiring managers and an observer. The interview took about 20 minutes, they asked questions about personal experiences at past employers, and why i wanted to work for T-mobile. Later that evening i did receive a call from the manager again and he said he wanted to start the background check process. They sent me an email with instructions for the background check.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Jul 2010
Interview
Applied online via the T-Mobile website. After completing the assessment I took my resume to all the stores I had applied online. Having prior knowledge about their hiring process I know that it is the store managers that make all of the hiring decisions for their store. Introduced myself to the managers and got their business cards to follow up with. Was contacted within that same week, setup interview the following week. Manager loved me and my mountains of experience, unofficially offered me the job on the spot, official offer after background etc came about a week later.

Question 1
There really was no unexpected questions, its a sales role so the typical "why you" question. They just want to see you sell yourself. There was also the "Tell me a time when you had to overcome an objection" STAR format is what they're looking for here. Also they want to hear about overcoming objections, just like during the sales process, when someone says "aw I'm not really interested" how do you move the sales conversation forward
