I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Oct 2009
Interview
I began with an online interview, then it was followed by a phone interview. I then attempted to take an online test, but had some issues with that. Then went into the office to take the test. next came back to listen in on calls. Next I interviewed with 2 levels of management. I left knowing that they wanted me, but had to go through a background check first. 2 weeks later received an offer. I was given an option of start dates and went with the one that began after I finished my final exams. I graduated and started approximately one month after graduation with holidays between that time.

if you were on the phone with a problem, how would you want me to handle it(asked by a manager)
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Allentown, PA) in Sep 2009
Interview
First, I took an easy assessment test with questions like can you sit at a desk for a full shift taking calls. Then I took a long, like 45 min. to an hour, skills and math test. You had to answer mock calls and handle customer problems in a call-center environment. It was fairly easy, but you should be prepared to write information down on paper quickly before entering it into the computer. The math problems were sometimes complex - a lot of percentages and fractions, but manageable. Finally, you have to answer pages and pages of personality questions. You won't have to think, but you will have to continue to concentrate for a long time.
I just filled out a complex background history, it was comprehensive - you will need access to information (address, phone number, dates of employment, supervisor's name and title, ect...)
I just scheduled a phone interview - it will be next week.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Lenexa, KS) in Aug 2009
Interview
I applied on the t-mobile website for a call center customer service position. After completing the online application I was sent a link to a testing site by previsor.com. The test consisted of a 4 calls in a virtual call center. It was very awkward and not realistic. I was expected to field the 4 calls on the spot - without any training. Every action was timed, typing speed and accuracy was evaluated, and after the four calls there was a 40 question survey and then another 40 question survey.
