I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2014
Interview
The process was fairly straight-forward. I was contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone screen, and had a follow-up with her about a week later, after which I met with the hiring executive. The recruiter was wonderful - she was very thorough and asked great questions, and was able to give lots of detail about the role and the executive(s) I would be meeting with. The interview with the hiring manager was very unpleasant - he was brusque to the point of rudeness, and seemed to think it was okay to talk down to me as if I were a teenager rather than a professional with twenty years of experience. It was obvious that the culture there was argumentative and disrespectful, I was not surprised at all not to hear back from him (was even glad about it). I was surprised though that I never got any sort of follow-up from the recruiter telling me "thanks, but no thanks" -- I would have expected at least that since she was so great otherwise.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Both the recruiter and the hiring manager asked very pointed questions about my experience, looking for specific examples (backed by data!) of situations that applied to the role. I did like that they were very specific about the type of person they were looking for -- even though the one guy was so unfriendly, it was clear that there is a perfect person for the position.

Several rounds of interviews starting with phone screen through panel. Be prepared for many internal acronyms, experience in disruptive tech, media or marketing may be helpful now. Brush up on John Legere's online presence, understand the "uncarrier" movement.
