The process took 1 week. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Richmond, VA) in Aug 2010
Interview
I had to complete an online assessment test, I was contacted back in 3 business days in which I came in for a "job fair". The whole interview process lasted 3 hours in which I listened to a presentation, a live phone call and interviews 1 on 1 with a coach. At that time they told me I had done great and wanted to interview me with the Hiring Manager (actually ended up being 2 Coaches)....The panel interview is very complex and they use the STAR interview! I was told I would hear back in seven business days with an offer, If I was offered the job so now I am just waiting.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Jul 2010
Interview
After filling out an application online (consisted of personal info, resume, skills and personality test) I got a call a couple days later with and did a phone interview. I was then asked to come in for the initial interview. At the call center I sat and listened to a rep on the phone (supervised a call) for about 30 minutes. I then did a face to face interview with a manager, then another with a superviser. Overall I thought it went well but 3 days later got an email stating i didnt get the position and had to wait a year to apply again [as if!].
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Illustrate a time when you calmed an irate customer. How did you calm them? What was the outcome?
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Charleston, SC) in May 2010
Interview
I began by filling out the application online. BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE ON PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT DATES!!!!!!! Make sure the dates on your resume match this application as well!!! Then i continued to a skills/personality/IQ intelligence test. Also a series of questions and a simulated program that gave specific scenarios and a 'what would you do in this situation' test. THEN about two weeks later a phone interview. Make sure you emphasize how flexible you are because the shifts change every six months. No questions asked. It is all based on your rankings. I passed that and scheduled an interview for two weeks after that. At the interview I was being watched the second i walked through the door. Be there at least 15 mins early, but not too early. bring your resume and dress professionally. After that i was asked in to be interviewed by one of the senior business managers. I then moved to be interviewed by one of the Floor managers. Then he brought me up to listen in on phone calls for thirty minutes, just to make sure it was for me. I thought it was, so he then conducted another interview. I then went downstairs for another interview by one of the HR members and he offered me the job. He then continued to say that i had to pass a background test. Not only does this include a criminal background screening, but also residential, employment, and education test. It is crazy but bear with it. The company they use is HireRight. they are disorganized, unprofessional, and a pain in the ass. But finally it all turned out ok.
