I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Chattanooga, TN) in Jul 2010
Interview
You had to take a "test" where they used a system that imitated working at a call center and you have to make at least a 60. Then, went for a "day in the life" where you learned more about the job, then set up for 2:1 interview. Was offered the job and the day before training they informed me that I had a typo on my application that caused my background check to come back with a warning message and the revoked their offer.
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Springfield, MO) in Sep 2010
Interview
I filled out the application online, got a call the next day for the phone interview, filled out the background check, and go in for the face to face interview tomorrow
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Lenexa, KS) in Sep 2009
Interview
First there was an internet test that took about an hour, and I move fast. It wasn't very difficult tho. It basically asked what your reactions would be in certain customer service and moral situations. Next, they call you in for an interview, which is 2 on 1. You run through various mock customer service scenarios once again. I got called back that same day for a phone interview. Next is a pretty long, but clumsy background report. The company they get to outsource the check has a hard time even verifying information with current phone numbers and address you give them. Next is the hire. Good luck folks!
