Typical customer service questions.. Long process to clear the background check. It took over 3 weeks, so patience is required.
No drug test required for part time work.. My manager drug tested though so I'm guesting that its only required for FT
Was asked to show a piece of jewelry and try to sell it to my manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No unexpected or truly difficult questions. If you want this job, dress ultra professional in a black jacket and nice shirt. The pay is terrible and the sales goals are virtually unattainable.
Ok as a PT job if you really need the money but otherwise don't waste your time. On a positive note, the company is steeped in a rich history & the crystal quality is unmatched.
You will get a decent discount but that is the only plus.
Manager appeared in a hurry, interview duration reflected this - interview lasted a total of five minutes.
Specially told to, "smile all the time, even though you're probably not happy."
No reference check.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Swarovski (San Antonio, TX) in Jun 2011
Interview
I applied online which consist of basic questions it then redirected me to an online assesment that was mainly of instore scenarios. I got a call a week later for a 1:1 interview. I believe I met with a regional manager; at a double tree hotel. She was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Mention the crystal society membership she seemed impressed that i was the only one who mentioned it out of all the people she had interviewed in a week. If possible wear at least one of their jewelry pieces.
