Sunglass Hut interview questions

I applied on Tuesdsy and was called the same day to come in for an interview on Wednesday. The interview was pretty easy, they put me on the floor to see how I engage with customers. Then I asked to come in for the second part of the interview with the Store Director and she asked basically the same questions as the first. She asked what compensation I wanted. I said $10 per hour but I said it's negotiable and was offered $11. The hardest part is being put on the floor because they basically hire you off of how well you do.

They are more concerned with your look. Please dress like you are hanging out in West Hollywood for men: black and white blazers, tie, slacks, nice dress shoes and women: heels!!! lip stick, make up on point! black or white dress! or nice blazer and slacks! Smile!! Laugh! You are selling your personality not your work ethic or experience! I promise you its more like a first date than job interview. You will be working in a store by yourself for hours, who cares if you worked in retail for 10+ years! Oh yeah and you will do a sales floor audition at some point. Meaning you will have to interact with customers on your own. Please be ready to do so! You will thank me later!
