I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Startek (Myrtle Beach, SC)
Interview
I applied online by submitting an application and taking assessments. I was called back within the week and did two phone interviews. After the phone interviews I did one at the facility. I also took the online assessment again. The ones doing the interviews were most concerned with my transportation to and from work and my sales ability.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
By what method are your customer service skills rated and where do you fall in line with your coworkers?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Startek (Grand Junction, CO) in Aug 2011
Interview
No face-to-face interview. Was told of a date and time to arrive. Showed up, mentally prepared for my interview only to see that there was a group of at least a dozen others, all dressed in their Sunday best for their "interview." (It was a group interview). First the HR person came out and talked about the "benefits" of working at Star Tek. Then the actual owner came out, and we were led on a guided tour. We also went into the call center itself, and got to see all the sad faces of the busy employees. The occasional employee who wasn't on a call would smile and wave at the HR person/Business Owner, then immediately sorrow would hit their face as they adjusted their headset to answer an incoming call, with their little script, "Thank you for calling AT&T, my name is XXXXXX, how can I assist you today?"

Question 1
Can you tell me about a time you needed to help a co-worker?
I applied online. I interviewed at Startek in Jan 2015
Interview
It is a group interview, which they do not mention. I personally find that unprofessional. Also, a group interview is kind of a slap in the face. They do not try to get to know you or how well you would fit in this position. They ask you to say your name and what dogs you have. And then you watch a presentation. That was literally the whole interview process.
