I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Startek (Lynchburg, VA) in Feb 2016
Interview
The first step I took was to fill out an application online. I was called back the same week to come in for an interview and assessment. When I went in I took multiple assessment tests which took about three hours. The assessments included multiple choice questions on how you would respond to certain situation, simulations, and personality questions. From there I was scheduled for an interview for the following week. Due to my availability, I'm not sure if I will be able to accept a position at StarTek.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Startek in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied online and completed the post application simulation. (FYI- The application should be completed on a desktop in order to utilize the simulation test afterwards.) That was pretty much it and I was left waiting for over 3 weeks for a response from a recruiter. I even went in to the local office, TWICE! Once to ask to speak with a hiring manager and again to leave my resume for the hiring manager who was always too busy to acknowledge prospective employees... When I was finally contacted, the Recruiter explained that she had gotten the message and resume but she was busy interviewing for another training class and had over 30 interviews to perform before getting to me. The first contact was via email to set up a time to do a phone interview. The phone interview was alittle over 30 minutes long. Lots of typical interview questions were asked. The Recruiter explained how the hiring process worked and the culture of Startek. Then I was told I passed and was immediately scheduled for an in-person interview to take place within a few hours later. Literally, my phone interview was at noon and my in-person interview was at 230! The in-person interview was with a random supervisor, basically whoever was available at the time. She explained that she didn't have much experience with interviews but she asked all the same questions the Recruiter had asked during the phone interview and I had to perform a skit... I was hired on the spot and signed all the new hire paperwork.... ONLY TO RECEIVE A COPY OF MY BACKGROUND CHECK A COUPLE WEEKS LATER with a message saying they will is the info contained. I called and emailed the Recruiter to check my status and there was no response. Then, a supervisor called me back explaining that I was unable to work for Startek at this time and that someone should have contacted me before i received the packet in the mail. Moral of the story, misdemeanors are on your record forever so don't omit them on job applications!
