The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Stantec (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Had 5 different interviews with 2 different people, and ultimately never heard a word. Over a 2 1/2 week period I followed up 4 times. Nothing. Not a note, not a call, nothing. Disgusting behaviour. Waste of my time. And I’ll share this experience with everyone I know. This organization is not worth the effort. If someone couldn’t take the time to send a quick note or make a quick call, they clearly don’t care. Run for the hills! Don’t work here.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Many, many questions about experience. They were clearly incapable.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Stantec in Mar 2016
Interview
A manager called me to ask me questions. This was after I met a recruiter at a career fair. The recruiter and I were in communication for around 1-2 months after the fair before the manager called me.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Stantec
Interview
Very fair. They first wanted to learn who you are as a person, then make sure you had the appropriate skills. Don't need to but for the final and more technical interview I recommend bringing previous work, it makes explaining what you've done in the past that much easier. The current office dynamic is perfect, so they care a lot about making sure that you are a person that can work well with the team first.
