I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Stantec (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2022
Interview
I had two interview with Stantec. The first interview went well and the role sounded like I was looking for. The recruiter contacted me for a second interview about a month later with no further details. For the second interview, both interviews were quite late (>15 min) and did not provide any heads up that they would be late. The interview turned out to be for a completely different role than applied for (design role when I applied for a sustainability building consultant position). Turns out the original role I applied for was never approved before they posted the role and they were looking to hire a designer in the meantime. I don’t appreciate that the interviewees essentially wasted my time (I took time off for this interview) especially when i expressed in the first interview that I wanted to move away from design roles. They would also not provide a salary despite me asking in both interviews. They asked for my salary expectations after assuring me they are competitive and I quoted a number about 2k higher than my current role to which they replied that was on the ‘high end’ and they probably couldn’t meet that. Following the interview, the recruiter reached out to me to provide references (5 references required and 2 must be from direct supervisors) before even providing an offer or a real salary range. I declined and ended the process.

Interview
Very Interactive session Relaxed Interactions, felt at ease during the session Feedback during and after the interview. Considerate on life events and flexible with resumption. Questions were in line with the advertised position
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stantec (High Wycombe, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
Very easy virtual teams interview. Gelled well with leader and principal engineer. There weren't many challenging questions, more a discussion and need not have done as much interview prep as I had. That said, best to still prepare as much as you normally would.
