I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stantec (Toronto, ON) in May 2011
Interview
Interview process was through the university, Stantec had very little, if nothing at all to do with the logistics. All they did was have a phone line available for the period in question and the students came to them. It was more about a personality fit as students are hired to fit in to whatever role they are given and expected to be flexible and completely adaptable. Get what you can. Everyone has to start somewhere.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Stantec (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
the interview was very brief: I was asked what i know about the company, and then was explained what the interview was for. the interviewers kept telling me how many minutes I had to explain what i did, or if i had questions to ask.. most of the interview was actually spent telling me what the candidate would have done if hired. it was kind of weird, because really not a lot of questions were asked about my skills, and performances...
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Stantec
Interview
Very relaxed interview and friendly. I was initially very nervous but with it I relaxed and it didn't really feel like an interview anymore. I don't think they were looking for a person who was superb at one thing--I think for them the type of person was more important, such as having a very positive attitude.
