Interview
It really depends on the professor you're working with. For my case exceptionally, I didn't have any connection to the research group that I applied. However, they hire from a closed circuit. Mostly french, Russians, and prince and possibly princesses from Saudi Arabia. How is it possible that a french guy and her wife are both eligible to get a job in the same group in the same department, especially when they are not witty at all. So.... Stanford collects some talents , it has to, to run the business, the rest of it is wealth and power!

Very organized. Met coaches, staff back to back. Great experience. Very detailed. Met director of sports med. Paid flight, stay, food. Toured campus. 1 day 8-5pm. So long day but felt short. Should have laid out expectations better. Very laid back.

Very thorough and intelligent process. I felt that the interview had been constructed to show as much as possible about prospective candidates. A project was required and it was not easy.

I was asked about recent books I had read and how they contributed to my work decisions
