Applied online, then a brief phone interview, then an in-person interview with a skills test at the end of the interview. It was a very pleasant experience, and I am so excited to be joining the University! It may feel intimidating because of the notoriety of the school, but they really do want you to succeed

Interview
Stanford's interview process is known for taking several months. It is VERY slow! But they are thorough. I have interviewed for a couple of different jobs and had similar experiences for both. The job I finally got took 4 months - from start to finish.

Question 1
Questions were typical interview questions: strengths, weaknesses, how are your skills related to the job they are seeking to fill, questions about use of the applicable software and applications related to the job. Met with the whole team with the exception of the hiring manager who cancelled twice.

Interview
It was 3 rounds. First round was screening with a recruiter. After screening interviewer asked for additional material to be shared with Hiring Manager. Heard back 3 weeks after the interview, that I was eliminated from the hiring process.
