I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SpaceX in Mar 2024
Interview
Had two exploratory conversations with members of the Build Reliability Engineering team. Next, three rounds of technical interviews over the phone: 1) with a recruiter, 2) the BRE team lead, and 3) the BRE engineering manager. The final interviewer was super combative and aggressive and made me feel terrible. I didn't make it to the onsite stage, but I would have had to give a presentation with a panel interviews plus multiple 1:1s.
Can you walk me through your experience with your most technically challenging project? If you could go back and change something about that project, what would it be?
