I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Solvay in Jan 2019
Interview
Phone interview with Human Resources recruiter, followed by an onsite interview with the hiring manager for the position (including detailed case study exercise) and final interview with top management (panel of 2 managers of the team).
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Solvay (Augusta, GA) in Mar 2018
Interview
The interview process was very disheartening. I was told by the Regional Supply manager that Solvay was looking for younger talent to fill leadership roles due to aging talent pool. I brought to the table at 33 years old 11 yrs experience in manufacturing, BS Supply Chain Management and MBA. After the panel interview that seemingly went well I was never given the courtesy of a call back Or email to tell me I didn’t get the job. Just short text after 2 weeks of waiting “they filled the role, good luck”. Long story short the role will filled by an existing employee that did not meet the job description qualifications but did have many years with the company. I do respect Solvay’s decision I just hate that my interview process was just a check in the box.

Interview
I applied online received a phone interview shortly thereafter for 30 minutes with an HR representative. They followed in a week with an on-site interview. The interview included HR, the facility director, the engineering manager, EHS, and pilot plant production.
I didn't receive a facility tour. The interview lasted about 3 hours.
