Slack interview questions

1st interview: phone interview with HR/Talent acquisition. 2nd interview: ZOOM interview with the hiring manager to answer his questions and review my portfolio. He was interested in seeing my writing. The interviewers were very friendly and professional.

Process took about 2 weeks in total. A recruiter reached to me via Linkedin for a 15 minute informational session. We did a more formal dive into my resume (30 min), skipped a second round with the HM (would've been 30 min) and went straight to the final round (Four 45 minute interviews over two days). Everyone was nice but it did feel extremely rushed and I do wish I had a second round vs going straight to final interviews. The recruiter did not connect with me to prep until the morning of my first final interview. I do feel as if they had already made a decision by the time I got to the HM interview which was the next day and last and she closed with “yeah we have a ton of people interviewing for this position so don’t be upset if you do not get it.” I understood the sentiment but felt it was unnecessary. The recruiter said they would get back to me on the next Tuesday (it was Thursday) at the latest but didn’t get back to me for another 2 weeks even after I followed up.
