I applied online. I interviewed at Sixt in Jun 2023
Interview
After several interview sessions on the last interview the reason for being declined was " Your ENGLISH IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, they could not understand you". English is not my mother language and neither the interviewers, everyone has accent. That was the most discriminatory feedback I received EVER in my life. Also not mention that I lived on US and Canada for years without any problem and I work on international companies for +15 years and that was never an issue. Today I felt hurt
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sixt (Atlanta, GA) in May 2023
Interview
Sat in a conference room for nearly two hours alongside 12-15 additional candidates. The excuse given was that the general manager was suddenly out ill with the flu. Mind you, it’s June! Anyway, I sat for an extended period of time. At some point a supervisor finally selected me and three others to interview. We made our way to an open foyer area near the car rental desk and sat another 15-20 minutes. The supervisor then escorted us to a company VIP break room for a simple “hello, how are you”. The process was no more than five minutes of lofty banter, no real questions or answers. What’s super odd is that I was given a callback the next day, but for a smaller position. I initially went for a reservations position (forgive me, I don’t recall the exact position title). I declined the interview based on several factors: 1. I was literally the only male in shirt and tie and your 2nd interview request is for a lesser position? 2. The “holding conference room” was chaotic and though we signed a sign in sheet, no one kept track at all. 3. They kept bragging about the company and its family environment…well, it’s one big dysfunctional family and I’m uninterested and definitely unimpressed. The great feeling I get is this company has HIGH turnover.

Question 1
Literally nothing. LOL. The manager really didn’t ask anything other than schedule availability.
