I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sephora (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
I made it to the second interview. The first interview was a group interview and we all stood in a circle and were asked questions. We each answered our question one by one. You had to stand out with your answers. I got called back for a second interview. That was one on one. Asked more detailed questions. They ended up just transferring someone from another Sephora for the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Saint Louis, MO) in Oct 2013
Interview
My interview was conducted with a group of about five other applicants. I applied for the position on several different occasions before getting called back. The best time to apply is around holiday and they usually keep a couple holiday hires that they were impressed with. The interview was rather laid back. We had to practice selling and answer some personality based questions.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2015
Interview
Good but very brief. I didn't talk a lot with the lady interviewing me. She was nice but seemed like she had a lot of other candidates. She also asked many personal questions that I didn't feel were related to the job specifically.
