Sephora interview questions

I was called in for an interview within a week of submitting an application online. The interview was with both the Sephora manager and the general manager of JC Penney. Mostly behavioral questions were asked, so be prepared to recall past experiences. There was room to ask questions and the environment was pretty comfortable.

I first met with one of the department managers who loved my resume and insisted he wanted me on the team. After the interview I tried to contact him multiple times, and never got a call back or answer. Then, I called the Sephora directly and talked to the manager and explained the situation. She had me come in for an interview. She then set up a time to come in for another interview, which was a floor exercise where I would demonstrate my skills. When I came in for the floor exercise she told me that I killed it and gushed about how incredible I did and how I was the exact candidate they were looking for. She said she’d call me by Friday (it was Wednesday). I never got a call and continued to play phone tag for TWO MONTHS until they told me they’d already filled the position.
