I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sephora (Walnut Creek, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
It was very great. The manager was very kind and professional and made me feel comfortable through the whole thing. She took the nerves right out. As long as you have a very fit resume and cover letter as well as coming looking very clean and professional, the interview will start good just because you took time out into making a very great impression of yourself.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sephora (Emeryville, CA) in May 2017
Interview
The interview process was very smooth, we did okay phone tag for a bit but communication was very consistent. I had a phone interview first then a second interview for a face to face and finally the third interview and I got a call back in 3 days notifying me of and offer for the position.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sephora (New York, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
My interview process was very smooth. I was asked typical interview. I was asked to perform a makeup makeover on the spot and I wasn't expecting that so I didn't have any of my own makeup brushes. I was supplied makeup brushes from the senior artist and another cast member was used as a model. I was offered the job in about 2 days. They made an offer of 17.50 p/h and I then asked for $19.00, they settled with 18.00 p/h. I was hired as full time however that does not mean you will work 40 hours a week. Full time at sephora is up to 32 hours a week. I wish that was explained to me during the interview because it would have affected my decision. I ended up working between 20 to 32 hours a week.
