I applied online. I interviewed at Security Industry Specialists (Des Moines, IA) in Sep 2014
Interview
The interview is very basic and "usual" for a security job. There was nothing surprising in template for their interviews. You need to have basic knowledge of security duties, some critical thinking skills, and a customer service mindset to do well in the interview.

Interview
Phone screening with recruiter, which is generally very pleasant and generally lasts about 15 to 30 minutes. They basically just ask you a few questions and verify that you know what the job is, then set up the one on one interview. Standard background questions and situational questions. In the one on one interview, they pay very close attention to past security experience and education.
