I applied online for this position through the SEARS website. after completing the personality test, the website gave me a list of dates and times to choose from for my interview to be scheduled at the 15235 store. i chose a date and time and arrived early properly dressed in a suit- resume in hand. after 30 minutes of waiting for the interviewing official to see me, she arrived only to tell me that she "cannot interview me. the man that i need to speak with travels throughout the area and is not coming into the store. she knows that he will not be coming in because she would have had to contact him and did not". i nicely and politely asked what will happen with getting this rescheduled and she said that he will contact me. it has been 2 weeks and so far i have not heard anything from anyone! this is even after i left a message at that stores hr depts phone number just asking if someone could follow up with me. their system obviously knew that i was scheduled because as i was waiting for this woman, another manager was sitting with me and she printed my info off of their computer to speed up the process. i made alot of special arrangements to be at that interview and i had just worked the midnight shift right before that interview. i cant believe that this is how they run things at that corporation. the worst part is that i google searched the job title to see if i could find anything online before the interview and i saw that someone else had EXACTLY the same thing happen to them! still, i went into it with high hopes telling myself that im sure this wouldnt happen to me.
