I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sears (Spokane Valley, Spokane, WA) in Feb 2017
Interview
I did two interviews. The first was with an HR representative, where she asked me the basic questions like, where are you from, previous work experience, etc. Then I sat on the sales floor and got to listen in on actual calls with a representative. After that, I did a second interview with the team leader. She explained to me the details of the job, then we did some more in-depth questions. Remember, anecdotes are your friend!! And when they ask you why you want to work for Sears, mentioning the money isn't a bad idea. When I mentioned that I really liked the lucrative commission earning potential, the lady seemed to like my answer. After that, there is a role-playing session where they pretend to be a customer who doesn't really want the product and you have to sell it to them. Just try to be really convincing, what they're really looking for is honest interaction so they can see how you react. Never say "um" in this part of the interview.
