La società operante nel settore del credito al consumo ha effettuato un primo colloquio di tipo conoscitivo volto alla valutazione delle esperienze professionali e accademiche pregresse del candidato. Il colloquio si è svolto in remoto con un personale tecnico cordiale e disponibile.

First contacted by HR for screening. Then I was invited to an informal video call with the hiring manager, which went alright. Then I was invited to a competency interview with the hiring manager and another manager. They were very rigid on exactly how you should answer their questions, if you are not answering in the structure they wanted, they even corrected what I said, and they were specific on very minor things, which I found weird. Probably they are following some corporate interview guidelines. Seems to me they want some model answers, and of course candidates can practise the STAR technique, but does it help to recruit the best candidate?

basic get to know you questions, not difficult. I enjoyed the experience and getting to meet the team even though it was over zoom. Why do you want to work here type of things.
