Interview
My initial communication was through my network. They did invite me for an interview via e-mail first. The first interview was with HR Officer and CFO (face to face). The second interview was with Senior Controller and Controlling Manager. This one was more technical based. They tried to understand the level of my knowledge and my ability to succeed the requirements of the position. The last interview was a group/panel one. Before the interview, they sent me a case and a few specific operational questions and I did prepare an power point presentation and sent it in advance. There were Controlling Manager, Senior Controller, HR Director and CFO. I believe it is very important to be relax but at the same time self-confident. The first impression and your attitude are also very important points.

Question 1
Do you know anything about the parallel trade or transfer pricing?
A day after applying for a specific position, they sent me an email if I'm available for an interview. They didn't specify the position (on purpose).
The recruiter called me and told me this is not actually about the position I applied for, because -as she waguely described- they are looking for a more senior candidate, and the hiring manager is still not sure what they are looking for for this role anyway. Based on the job description I'm a perfect fit based on the experiences, skills, and relevant years spent in a similar role. This is clearly a a ghost job if I ever seen one. Then she asked me about one of my more junior previous roles from about five years ago, because I would be a good fit for one of their controller openings. (they have about a dozen of those for budapest only, makes me wonder how many of them real). Needless to say I turned out NOT to be a good fit for the role, since it was only remotely resembling to one of my earlier roles, which was clearly visible on my CV and LinkedIn profile, and the whole conversation could have been avoided by reading my CV. A complete waste of time.

J’ai eu l’opportunité de passer un entretien chez Sanofi, et le processus a été clair et professionnel du début à la fin. Les échanges avec les recruteurs et le manager étaient constructifs, axés autant sur mes compétences que sur mes motivations. Je me suis senti écouté et respecté.

I had a phone interview with the HR to know each other. After that I had a zoom Interview with my future boss where I talked about my background and my past experiences and she explained to me the job that I had to do.
