I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Richmond, VA) in Jun 2018
Interview
I am a current Wal-Mart Associate only have been working for them for less than a month. Phone Interview with 2 Sam's Club Store Managers. When I went to orientation I was told you can be promoted as soon as tomorrow. I have an Associates Degree which is one of the qualifications to obtain the position. I also have 5 Years of Manager Experience Running a Small Business which was completely undermined. I am extremely upset because I really wanted this job. I sent a Thank You Letter and 2 Follow Up emails to Hiring Store Manager and called twice. You have to work for them for however long they feel you need to in order to get into the Manager in Training Program. It's 2018 no one is waiting for to get in a program with a company they already work for it is too many companies hiring Managers In Training now.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Bentonville, AR) in May 2018
Interview
Applied on the career site. Recruiter reached out. Had to take an online coding test. It was on Hackerearth. The test had a total of 10 questions. 3 were coding questions were I had to actually write code and it should pass the testcases, remaining 7 were multiple choice kind like given a code snippet give the outcome or find the issue.
I did well on the online test and was scheduled for a phone screen. There were 2 principal engineers who interviewed me for like an hour. Made me write code. It was basically all data structures and algorithms. After this phone screen I had another phone screen with two other senior folks of the team. Again coded on the shared screen. After this I was invited for an onsite interview. It was fairly reasonable with 4 to 5 rounds. Each round had 2 people interview me. Each round had some white boarding and some situational/behavioral questions.
In a day or two the HR reached out with an offer that I successfully negotiated and accepted.
