I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Fullerton, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
I was being interviewed for a cashier position and a cafe associate position. They ignored the fact that I preferred to be a cashier even though the majority of my work experience is in big box retail. You could tell they were in dire need for a cafe associate based on the questions they asked. They also lied in their job posting. The post said it was a full-time position. Management said they don't hire anyone in as full-time. They also weren't happy with the fact that I have a job that I'm currently on furlough from. They assumed I would quit when my furlough was over. They also said they don't hire seasonal or temporary workers. I know for a fact that that's not true. They also want a 1 year commitment upon being hired. I was offered a part time cafe position via email the next day. I would have accepted it but they made it clear they wouldn't work around my current job situation.
