I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sage in Jul 2025
Interview
Sage followed the 3 interview pattern, with an initial interview with the recruiter, another one with two engineers (live-coding but with AI allowed) and a third one to specify offer and such.

Question 1
Develop a GIF page pulling from the Giphy API. Cursor allowed, but I used GitHub Copilot only.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sage (Manchester, Inglaterra) in Jun 2025
Interview
I initially completed an online assessment and an AI interview, after which I was invited to an in-person interview on June 12th. I was informed that all related travel expenses would be reimbursed. However, more than two months have passed, and I have yet to receive any reimbursement for the approximately £250 I spent on travel and accommodation.
During the in-person interview, I participated in a 90-minute technical session covering topics such as Java OOP principles (inheritance, abstraction), REST Assured and its implementation, Selenium testing, SQL queries, daily responsibilities of a QA engineer, handling tight deadlines, resolving disputes with development teams, and discussing my biggest achievement. In contrast, I learned that other candidates had interviews lasting only 40–50 minutes.
Despite multiple follow-up emails to the Sage Early Careers team, I have not received any feedback from the interview — something that was initially promised — nor have I received a clear update on the reimbursement. Earlier replies mentioned they were busy and would respond soon, but more recently, my messages have gone unanswered.
