While the interview process was standard (first call with a recruiter and then a call with the hiring manager), it was clear from the get-go that Sage seems to be a disorganized organization. It could be that they are growing fast, but it was clear from the conversations I had with 2 employees that they were stressed and didn't seem to love they work they were doing. The recruiter even mentioned to me that I shouldn't expect any growth in the role. As for my conversation with the hiring manager, he immediately started the conversation by saying, "Hi. Let's dive into the first question." It was a one-sided conversation the entire hour. I didn't receive any email or call from the recruiter that I didn't move on in the process.
