I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at S&P Global (Denver, CO) in Aug 2022
Interview
30 min interview where she asked me to describe a project I am most proud of and three words my teammate would describe me as. She also asked about my experience and what made me successful. She told me that I would hear back whether or not I was moving on to the next round by a certain day and she never responded. I really like this company and I am disappointed to not hear any response.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at S&P Global (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jul 2019
Interview
Telephone interview with the internal recruiter to brief me on the role and run through my experience/salary expectations.
Then a 2 hour face to face interview with 5 different team member at their Canary Wharf Offices.
First was with 2 senior members, to talk through my relevant experience.
Second was with two people who are currently in the role of Contract Negotiator. This was fine but one team member made a few slightly inappropriate remarks like "wow you're married, you look about 12". This interview was to talk through my personality and some scenarios that might occur in the workplace.
Third interview was with the head of the team, he talked through the holistic outlook of the team. Where he sees the team going in the future and what my future aspirations are.
On a separate day I did a video interview with the Chief legal officer which went well. We ran through my experience and then talked a bit about my interests. All in all around 30 mins long.
The thing that tainted the entire experience for was their internal recruiter who promised updates and just never bothered to provide them.
I have been chasing for over a month with no update or even any kind of timeline, just holding responses. On 2 occasions over a 3 week period, I have chased and they have said they are finalizing final stage interviews by the end of THAT WEEK... he let me know that it was just between myself and another candidate so not sure how you can have multiple FINAL stage interviews with one candidate.
The entire process has taken THREE months for a role that was supposedly to start ASAP. I was offered another role somewhere which I ended up turning down but in the process of it the recruiter told me to just go ahead and take the other job because he doens't know when the hiring manager will get back to him but he would let me know by the end of the day if he had received or not. Of course, no update and this was 7 days ago.
I can only assume I was unsuccessful because it's been radio silence for a month (when I had my final stage interview).
