I applied online. I interviewed at Robert Half (Telephone, TX) in Jan 2022
Interview
Robert Half representative, Brittany Hooley, has been a breath of re-freshed air in this process. She handles the Job Search process like it used to be. She looks through the available jobs in the RH Jobs Bank instead of the grab bag approach the "automated" bush-beating systems work. She is not interested in getting your Contact Info for re-sale, but in getting the Job Seeker a compatible Job. And, she keeps you in the loop through the process. This is the way the Staff Augmentation / Employment Placement firms used to operate, and the way they all should run back to!

Question 1
Which of these 3 positions do you think would fit best?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Robert Half (Colorado Springs, CO) in Jul 2021
Interview
The typical interview process, COVID protocol ie. web-based interview. Web-based or telephone makes no difference to me if you listen as well as you observe. I'm a former Recruiter/HR Manager, hire to fire, myself; interviews to me have never been a power play but an honest conversation. This affects people of The Law and their EEOC ruts. My interviewer, a woman of color, her name would lead me to believe of Muslim faith but I've always failed those fun little web-based "How well do you know your Asian?" quizzes. However, she was most interested in learning about my employment working for people of Hindu and Muslim faith, so go figure. In the end, she led me to believe I was hired; she took 2 hours of my time to have me complete their new hire paperwork, I read the disclosures for many reasons; and, in the end, she tells me in writing that "I am unemployable." I escalated it to her branch manager who was equally as "rude" as he would call me and I remain unemployed even though they had 4 viable temporary prospects of which I could have earned at least 1 week's worth of pay. This the response from two employees of a group of commonly owned firms that have a domestic and international base; and, I am unemployable? But, they get a thumbs up because at least they told me. I've been working on and off with Robert Half and Accountemps since 2012 as their employee and since probably 2001 as an employer in need of their services. Our argument continues even though I give them a kudo for being honest and brave where others have most certainly failed or turned tail to run. I found their office searching my resume online at social networks such as Indeed; they have yet to reply to my inquiry regarding their reasons for needing my updated resume which they requested through Indeed on 1/3/22 and to which promptly replied. Many opportunities in staffing and recruiting, however after 24 years of working within and requesting the assistance of outsourced 3rd party Human Resource firms, the best advice I can give you is to stay true to yourself and never give up on yourself; they will, they are the parents of demand fed babies and often well trained in sales but not work-life balance to lead good relationship building themselves.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why did you leave ______?
What are your goals ______?
Transportation?
Etc., the typical questions. The interview was interesting, and for some may have been difficult because of how I chose to answer the questions. Remember, I was once in her shoes and I hated having to keep fogging a mirror to meet a 25 person headcount every week for a call center. I hated having to fire people I believed could do the job with the right support; and, I tried very hard to give them the right support. So, honesty is the way I play even if the mantra of the recruiting industry is to massage the words so bad looks good.
Straightforward interview using a webcam as well as a phone screen. Lasted roughly 30 minutes and went over possible opportunities. The people were very nice and gave a full run down of what I was interested in knowing.
