I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Robert Half in Mar 2011
Interview
I had my detailed interview with OfficeTeam. The account manager sourced out several positions for me. I felt Robert Half would be my best option as a temp to hire. I started as a temp and had an informal interview. After working with the company for 6 months I was offered a choice of two positions that became available.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Robert Half (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2010
Interview
It takes them a while to call you back. Being persistent is key as this is a hard core sales job & they like seeing a go-getter attitude. I met with the regional manager first. 2nd interview was with Division Director & then they brought in all the team members to make sure they all agreed I was the right fit for their team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I don't recall anything out of the ordinary - mostly the standard interview questions. They spend most of the time talking about what the position is like & making sure you have the type of personality that will stick around.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Robert Half (Tampa, FL) in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied to a customer service position they posted on Careerbuilder. I received a call from one of their recruiters and she asked about my work experience and desired rate of pay.
The recruiter scheduled an appointment for me to come to the office and update my paperwork because I had previously registered with their affiliate, Office Team. I was also scheduled to interview and test.
After I finished the paperwork, I interviewed with a totally different recruiter that seemed as if he was barely awake. He gave an awkward handshake and asked very SIMPLE questions and never asked me to take an assessment.
He explained the job details, asked what my availability was for an interview that week, and told me I should hear from him later that same day to set up an interview with the company they were hiring for.
I waited all day and never received a call from him or any other recruiter from Robert Half/Office Team.
Lucky for me, I was recently offered a full-time job through a direct company with real benefits and real pay, not a job agency. Even so, Robert Half's Tampa, Fl office is highly UNPROFESSIONAL!
