I applied online. I interviewed at River Island (Londres, Inglaterra) in Sep 2018
Interview
I applied online and was invited to a recruitment event.
There was about 15 of us all applying for the same job, I found this quite rude as it was not mentioned in the email that it was going to be a group interview and I did not feel like a group interview gave me a chance to present myself properly, the interview took place in the small kitchen at the back of the store and some people even had to stand. The interview was on Friday 14th of September and they said they would get back to me on Monday 17th September, it is now the 22nd (8 days later) and I have still have not got a reply which I think is extremely rude as I dedicated a lot of time and effort to attend the interview, I am assuming that I did not get the job since they decided not to get back to me.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at River Island (Glasgow, Escocia)
Interview
Informal
Group interview, it was interactive and really put you at ease. Allowed you to bounce off others, and play to your strengths in these situations. Also allowed us to identify an outfit and describe it

Interview
I got an email asking to go to a recruitment event (interview). There were about 15 of us when I got there and I felt like this was far too many to interview everyone properly. We then did tasks that felt like something from a freshers event I.e things to take to a desert island/two truths one lie. Then we had to pick out an outfit as a group, this was alright and I expected it. The interview ended with any questions we had and that was it. We weren't told much about the job and there were no one on one interviews. I don't feel like it gave us much chance to show ourselves at our full potential, it felt like those who were the loudest/had the best "banter" with the interviewer were the most liked. The process lasted about an hour and a quarter but would have been only an hour if we'd been interviewed at the actual time we were told on the email.
