Revolut Software Engineer interview questions

The interview process was very extensive, consisting of around eight separate stages. While the interviewers were generally professional and engaged, the overall timeline felt quite long and required a significant time commitment. Several steps covered similar topics, which made the process feel somewhat repetitive. Although it’s clear the company values thoroughness in evaluating candidates, a more streamlined process could improve the candidate experience while still maintaining a high hiring bar.

Communication with HR was very clear, helpful, and pleasant. What I didn’t like as much was that the technical interviewer had somewhat strange expectation regarding solution implementation. For example, I was expected to use a List instead of a Set for unique elements, which isn't aligned with common best practices.
