I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in May 2020
Interview
There are 5 stages of the interview. I reached stage 4. I spent a lot of time on the test task and preparing for the interview. In General, I got a good experience and do not regret it.
I think that first of all I did not pass the interview, because of my level of English. I advise the recruiter to spend more time checking language skills at the first stage so as not to waste the time of applicants and the company.
Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to leave an honest review. We really appreciate you investing time in your home task, and it's unfortunate that you didn't make it through the final round this time. We'll definitely pass your feedback on to the recruitment team and we wish you all the best in your job search.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut (Londres, Inglaterra) in Feb 2020
Interview
The recruiter explained to me the process was divided into 5 steps.
1. Phone screen with a recruiter.
2. Portfolio review from the team.
3. Portfolio presentation with a Revolut designer.
4. Design Challenge (take-home exercise)
5. Design challenge presentation on-site.
Hey, thanks for your positive review. We appreciate your taking the time to let us know about your recruitment experience. Though you weren't successful this time, we encourage you to take a look at other open positions that may be relevant to you on our Careers page!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut (Londres, Inglaterra) in Oct 2019
Interview
I applied for the senior product designer in Revolut in October 2019 and I passed 2 rounds of design interviews and passed the design home task.
But finally failed in the last interview with a Product Owner. The rejected reason was super ridiculous. He thought I don’t have experience working with developers. I totally have no idea how he came out of this conclusion. If I don't have experience working with developers or I'm not able to work with developers, I couldn't have been working in the UX design field for so many years, and how I made so many designs I've done launched online?
I passed the design interviews and the home task which took me a lot of time. They confirmed and recognized my UI and UX ability but used an untrue thing to reject me. So I really question the professionalism and fairness in making the final decision of my application, or maybe it was the decision just from that PO. He is not even a designer. He made the rejection decision from a personal point of view, but not from a professional point of view. He doesn't like me, kept challenging me during the interview. He misunderstood what I said in the interview then I kept explaining to him. Finally, he used a totally untrue thing to reject me.
I’m so disappointed at Revolut and their interview policy.
