I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Revolut (Barcelona) in Jun 2024
Interview
Contacto rápido desde que aplicas. Poca información sobre el role durante la llamada. Recruiter no sabe nada o poco sobre España (beneficios, responsabilidades…) follow up inexistente. Se ve poca comunicación entre recruiters, me contactaron al de unas semanas de nuevo para el mismo puesto pese a haber sido descartada previamente
Long, a lot of interviews, including prep calls for interviews. Recruiters were lovely, however current Head of People should not be taking interviews, as he was highly unprofessional.
Was asked if i want feedback and was ghosted after.
There was a well structured interview process, which then went into a 'Problem Solver interview' which was vague scenarios that required a very specific approach and resolution, which then gave a pass/fail result. I failed, so maybe I can be held as being 'bitter' about this process step however, it didn't feel like there was clear or role-relevant metrics and measures that were linked to this step of the assessment and it was a binary gate which meant I didn't proceed in the process, which then overlooked any and all other experience and interviews. After multiple interview steps, I was left with limited, unclear feedback and was left wondering why this wasn't the first step if it was clearly such a critical one.

I also was asked to complete a CCAT - an online aptitude test, ~20 minutes, 40 questions. I was told my results were in the top percentile of respondees but the above step of 'Problem Solver interview' still become the sole factor for a proceed/fail decision.
