The screening call with the recruiter and the interview with the hiring manager were pretty decent. I also had to take an online test related to math and logic.
As the next stage of the process, there was a business case discussion for them to analyze if I have an “adequate” thought process. The business case was not related to the field that I applied to. Over the course my questions, this person was extremely unprofessional and demonstrated impatience, interrupted me during my thought process and was very rough on his answers. He rushed the meeting to finish earlier and simply hang up (no proper debriefing).
It was a complete waste of time and energy, I also think this step is useless, we could be using the meeting time to deep dive in my experience and how I can add value to the role I am applying to.
