he interview process consisted of three stages. First, I had a short phone call with a recruiter, where we talked about my experience and motivation. After that, I was invited to an online interview with the hiring manager. We discussed my previous projects and how I work in a team. The final stage was a technical interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The recruiter asked about my background, why I want to join the company, and what I expect from the role. The hiring manager asked more specific questions about my skills, problem-solving approach, and examples of challenging situations I had in the past. In the technical interview, I was asked to solve a few tasks and explain my logic step by step
There were several rounds of interview and online assessments. Managed to pass the assessments and 2 rounds of interview (skills and problem solving). However, did not manage to pass the last interview (bar raiser). For some reason, during the last interview, Revolut assigned an interviewer that was unrelated to the role I am applying for. The interviewer seemed to be conducting interview for the sake of it and was not interested in my responses as per the facial expression. Coincidentally, the interviewer is from a country that is known to prefer hiring their own countrymen -unconsicous biasness (refer to reddit or google and you can find the country). Revolut may want to prevent unconscious biasness and do a review of the number of applicants hired and rejected by such interviewer based on applicants' nationality to check.
I have no issues with the first 2 interviewers and they were able to relate to my responses as they are related to the role I am appying for.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Revolut
