I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp in Oct 2023
Interview
My experience interviewing for the Mid-Market Customer Success Manager role at Ramp was overwhelmingly positive. The team was professional while maintaining an approachable and friendly demeanor. The recruitment process was impressively communicative, with recruiters going the extra mile by providing insightful pointers before the presentation-style interview. It made me feel like the team wanted me to succeed and enabled me to put my best foot forward.
Overall, the interview made me enthusiastic about joining such an inspiring team. I was informed that I would likely receive a job offer, but unfortunately, I had already accepted a position at another company before a formal offer was extended.
Positive Highlights:
- Clear guidance on the steps needed to get to an offer from the outset
- Thoughtful interview structure, enabling me to showcase my skills and experience effectively
- Reasonable presentation expectations with a helpful template
- Prompt decision-making on advancing to the next rounds
Constructive Feedback:
- Tight turnaround time for submitting the presentation prompt (24-hour window)
- The duration was limited (20 minutes) for a mock kickoff; a longer session with more presentation time and room for discussion would have been beneficial for such a critical step of the interview process.
