I applied online. I interviewed at Ramp in Jan 2025
Interview
This position is called Customer Activation Manager externally but internally CSM. This is not a true CSM role. From what I gathered you are an onboarding specialist focused on sales. The goal is to get customers to spend as much as they can within the first 90 days and the account manager owns the relationship after that.
The hiring manager was really nice but there was misalignment. I’ve only briefly done implementations so I think both the hiring manager and I realized this role may not be best suited for me.

Interview
After submitting my resume on the website, I got an email for a one-way interview with Hireflix. The expectation is that this would be a 3 question video interview and should only take a few minutes. After completing I got an automated email that, if they think I am a fit, they will reach out in 24-48 hours.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp (New York, NY) in Feb 2024
Interview
Two behavioral interviews and then one case study/presentation where you had to create a slideshow about Ramp's products and present it to a "client" going through the onboarding process. It was nice to meet everyone, but ultimately I didn't make it through the last round. I would say they are very particular about what they're looking for from CSM, you need to be a smooth talker, hit on specific points to pass the interview. Talk to current CSM from Ramp on LinkedIn to get more insight on the interview.
